The averages about $ 1,000 per year for most pets, and it is not dependent on the size of the dog. For example, eat less than larger dogs, and drugs that are on the weight of the dog (eg, prevention of heart worm and flea control products are sold) less costly for smaller dogs. Thus, boxes, beds, toys and fences for your garden (you need are the 6-foot fence for most dogs over 40 pounds, while approximately 4 meters containing a very strong race toy.)

This is the total actual cost is expected to pay beyond their capability, however, I think, is in charge of you willing to pay what you can from the attention of the dog, and we hope that your parents are impressed by his desire to this way contribute to this. May what you want is coming to a monthly amount that you think you can win and are committed to helping you give your parents every month to pay for the dog. This is a very sensible for a young man.

Even if you can not pay everything by ourselves, knowing that it will be necessary that you have to convince isr, and shows that man is seriously a dog that has done the research! It is very difficult to put the prices on most of these without the size of the dog or the state where you live (which does not have to share with us.)

Here are the basic rules:
Nicas
Speiser
Toys
Let --
Collar or harness
ID tag
The annual visit of the EFF and vaccines (and most years there will be a visit or two the dog eats) something or ill
Prevention of heartworm disease every month
Protection against fleas Monthly
Food
Address --
Annual dog license (which is usually $ 20 or less)
Lessons of obedience
Shipping sitter or a pet if they go on holiday
Cost of acquiring the dog. If you get a house, you have probably already been spayed or neutered and microchip. When you buy a dog from a breeder, often for the castration or neuter and microchip the dog.

Of course, some of these costs, such as cages, leashes, bowls, sterilization, etc., involvedthe first year and are under control for long. The first year is always expensive, but so because of the cost of preparation, sterilization, training

Good luck!

The best way you can get an idea if you are on the pet store or supermarket, and then add the cost of things in a certain idea.

The acquisition costs are more expensive than you need to buy the bed, lead, neck, pay, etc., but also for veterinary vaccines. This price is call from a veterinarian for the PF a bit and ask what they require for the taking puppies.

Then there are bills are Veterans booster shots every year, and nothing if the dog gets sick. I guess that's what the parents are concerned about the coverage of costs for food. You need to tell them about this because I would not be surprised if you can afford to age. Perhaps it is for the rest possible, they will agree to help with veterinary bills?

Hope that helps somehow. ^ _ ^

There is no exact answer. Of course it would cost more per year to feed a German dog, that a poodle would be included. You know, you should also have enough money to provide adequate medical care when the dog gets sick. Example: If a dog with an intestinal obstruction, surgery done so that you can be anywhere from $ 4000.00 $ 2000.00. Unless your parents can easily afford such a thing, it is perhaps not the best time to look at, always a dog. It's more of a dog that has its own fair. BTW, is that you should not even be on this site, at least 13th I suggest if you have further questions, ask your parents for publication.

I do not want your hopes and some air out, but a 11yr old can not, how much money is required to increase to a dog ... Caution if you have 24 / 7, all mowing and making all the odd jobs as possible, but then not be able to spend time with your new dog.
I think you're too young to be to push the "I do not" argument. The only way their parents will pay to the idea of control is to show he can responsibility with which they were invited to do to take, and take the lead, not rely on this work.

It is a difficult question. The cost for owning a dog depends on the breed, location and many other items. SPCA in your area would be an excellent source of information about shopping, food, toys and veterinary costs for dogs that have just selected.
